Article 1 – Duration of Stay
The client signing this contract agrees to a fixed duration of stay and cannot claim any right to remain on the premises beyond the dates specified in the contract. The duration of the stay is a minimum of 3 nights and a maximum of 5 nights.
Article 2 – Booking Formalities
After receiving your booking request, we will send you a written confirmation (a booking contract) by email. We invite you to confirm this booking by replying via email as soon as possible. A deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay must be paid within 15 days. Upon receipt of the deposit, the booking becomes firm. If the deposit is not received within this period, the booking will be automatically canceled, and the rooms will be made available for other clients.
Article 3 – Consumer Code – Right of Withdrawal
A booking made online, by phone, and/or by correspondence is considered a distance purchase, subject to articles L. 121-17 and following of the Consumer Code. However, we inform you that the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for accommodation services in accordance with the current legislation.
Article 4 – Cancellation of the Stay by the Client
In case of cancellation of the booking before the start of the stay, the following conditions apply:
- If the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be fully refunded.
- If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be retained by Les chambres d’Oriane.
In case of late arrival or early departure during the stay, the total payment for the reserved service is due, regardless of the reason.
Article 5 – Cancellation Insurance at the Client’s Expense
We draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our rates. It is therefore strongly recommended that you purchase cancellation insurance on your own.
Article 6 – Cancellation of the Stay by the Owner
If, before the start of the stay, the owner is forced to cancel the booking, the client will be informed by any available means. Any payments already made by the client will be fully refunded.
Article 7 – Check-in Time
Check-in time is between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM. For arrivals outside of these hours, please inform us in advance.
Article 8 – Check-out Time
Check-out time is set at 10:00 AM at the latest.
Article 9 – Payment of the Balance for Accommodation
The balance of the stay is to be paid on-site on the day of arrival, in accordance with your booking contract.
Article 10 – Room Change
Without the client being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the client to a room of the same or higher capacity. In such a case, the cost of the booking remains unchanged.
Article 11 – Pets
Pets are not allowed at Les chambres d’Oriane.
Article 12 – Code of Conduct and Use of the Premises
To ensure the peace and comfort of all guests at Les chambres d’Oriane, a certain “art of living” is required from everyone. Smoking indoors is prohibited. The client agrees to respect the code of conduct that will be communicated to them and these general terms and conditions of sale.
The client agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare any damage they may have caused. The cost of repairs will be borne by the client.
The kitchen in the guesthouse is not available for guests’ use.
Children on the property are under the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians. They must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Les chambres d’Oriane declines all responsibility in case of loss, theft, damage, or injury caused to property and/or people on the property, regardless of the cause.
Article 13 – Modification of the Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is considered as soon as the deposit is paid.
Article 14 – Data Protection and Privacy
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and liberties, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data. We commit to never sharing the information you have provided to other companies or organizations.
